This week, many of our families in AOS 93 have been receiving EBT cards addressed to their child. These cards were issued to all students attending schools which qualified for free and reduced lunch programs during the Covid pandemic, regardless of family financial qualifications. These EBT cards can be activated by calling the 800-477-7428 number on the back of the card and used at local grocery stores for food purchases. Depending on the school your child attends, there would be $40-$120 on each card issued. Families who choose not to use these funds may simply destroy the card, or could use the card to purchase food that could be donated to a local food pantry.
