At Nobleboro Central School, we are making plans for the upcoming kindergarten class. Maine children are eligible to be enrolled in a public school within the town in which they reside, provided your child has turned 5 years old on or before October 15th of that school year. If you are a Nobleboro resident and your family has a child approaching kindergarten age, it's time to contact our school. Please email ncsoffice@aos93.org or complete the pre-registration form found on the Nobleboro Central School website. You'll find the kindergarten pre-registration link under the menu options/parent resources. Go to: https://www.aos93.org/o/ncs/page/kindergarten-pre-registration

As part of studying Maine, 3rd Grade students took a field trip to the top of Katahdin! They followed along and looked all round them as "Pilgrim" (the trail name of an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker finishing his roughly 2200 mile hike) made his way to the summit to touch the sign marking the northern end of the AT. Over the coming weeks, they will (virtually) visit and learn about West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory, and more. 6th graders will soon be traveling around Africa and 4th graders will take a road trip across the US as part of their studies. The VR headsets were made possible thanks to a very generous grant from the Maine Dept of Education to support Teaching with Technology. Thank you, DOE!
