Our 8th grade class celebrated their promotion with some paintball and White water rafting at Crab Apple. We even had our own guide, our Principal Mr. Adickes!

Huge THANK YOU & Shout out to The Jefferson Scoop for helping the Title 1 Program with their donation and support. They donated money towards a free ice cream cone to all Title 1 Literacy and Math students


This summer there will be free meals available in Jefferson every Monday & Wednesday from 11:30am-12pm for ANY child under 18 years old.
This runs from June 26th- August 23rd

Big thank you to the PTA for their support of the Title 1 Math & Literacy program. The PTA donated a book to each Title 1 student during the spring book fair. Your support means a lot!

The 5th Grade D.A.R.E program officially concluded with the end of the year celebration at a Portland Sea Dogs baseball game! Thank you so much to Sgt. Day and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office for purchasing the tickets to the ball game. The 5th grade gave Sgt. Day a framed word art and class picture to show appreciation for his time with the class. I would also like to congratulate Katherine McDonald and Bretley McClintick on their high scoring D.A.R.E essays where they were awarded a special medal for their hard work.

Jefferson Public Library will be having the annual Children's Summer Reading Program again this year. For ever book a child reads they will receive a ticket, half with their name and phone number will go in a jar with all the rest of the tickets. Once a week a name will be drawn for a $5.00 gift certificate to the Jefferson Scoop. All the tickets will be saved and at the end of the summer there will be a final drawing for a Grand Prize of a $25.00 gift card to the Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shop in Damariscotta.
