principalIt has been an interesting week with weather that resulted in a Remote Day on Monday and Wednesday. We greatly appreciate our families and your attention to your child's learning on those days. Please know that students have one week to complete the assignments and turn their signed copy back to their teacher. Let's hope for in-person learning from now until the end of the school year!  Go Lions!!!

3 on 3  Annual 3-on-3 Tournament a Slam Dunk Success!

Friday afternoon, just before vacation, students in grades 5–8 and several staff members gathered in the gym for the annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament. With seven teams competing in a double-elimination bracket, the competition was fierce from start to finish!

Teams included Pickles, Crushers, MAMA, Hoop There It Is!, Lockin’ Up Tob, The TOB Team, and The Motley Crue. After an exciting series of games, the tournament came down to a final showdown between The TOB Team and Lockin’ Up Tob.

In the end, The TOB Team—Brooklyn Reichard, Trenton Friant, and Oliver Reed—claimed the championship title! 🏆

The staff team brought plenty of talent and gave the student teams some serious competition, adding to the excitement of the event. Many students who weren’t playing stepped up to help by keeping score and managing the tournament brackets, while others cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines.

It was a fun-filled afternoon of teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit—an excellent way to head into vacation!

picture daySpring Picture Day – Monday

Spring Picture Day is almost here! Strawbridge Studios will be at NCS on Monday morning to photograph all students.

This is a proof picture sale, so no payment is due on picture day. Proofs will be sent home in a couple of weeks for families to review before ordering.

Please note: Students will be photographed in a full-length pose, so shoes will be visible in the picture. With snow boots being common this time of year, students may want to bring a different pair of shoes to change into if they prefer not to be photographed in boots.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiles!
