We had a wonderful winter weather week at school! Please make sure to remember that coats, hats, mittens/gloves, and snow gear (for younger students) are essential for winter temperatures.
It was an amazing concert yesterday, our students shined brightly on and off stage, as each and every one of us contributed to a successful concert! Kudos to our 8th Graders who supported our younger students and provided quick and easy transitions on and off stage.
Lastly, report cards for the first trimester were sent home last week. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone next week!

A friendly face from The Leadership School at Kieve has joined the Nobleboro Central School community, with Erin Harty coming aboard as this year's Educator in Residence.
In past years, Kieve educators in residence have helped students with their writing, led social-emotional learning activities, and encouraged team-building with Grades 7 and 8. They also help out with everyday duties like the morning welcome, lunch and recess.
This week Erin made her way around the school, introducing herself to staff and students, learning the layout of the building, and getting to know everyone. In the future, she will be helping out in classrooms, working one-on-one with students, serving as a guest teacher as needed, and making new friends. Welcome, Erin!
The halls at NCS are filled with Christmas cheer as classes participate in the Student Council’s door-decorating contest.

The Scholastic Book Fair was a smash hit once again! Each morning, students poured in with big smiles and even bigger wish lists, hunting for that perfect must-read.
A huge thank-you to our NPTO for not only sponsoring the book fair but also for providing every NCS student with the book of their choice this morning.

NCS kindergartners heard "The Gingerbread Pirates" during library time this week and then created their own Captain Cookie! With pirate hats, googly eyes, paper swords & eye patches, the youngsters brought the seasonal story to life.
