Whether it is donating 1,500 pounds of food for our Food Drive, participating in our Senior Buddies program, engaging in experiences on Field Trips, or our Thanksgiving Feast, at NCS we believe that these shared community events provide meaningful opportunities for our students.
Our Thanksgiving Feast brought over 100 families of K-4 students here at Nobleboro Central School. Thank you to our fantastic kitchen staff as well as financial support from local organizations and donors. Most of all, the work of our middle school students is greatly appreciated, as servers, movers, and greeters. We would like to thank the community and those who attended to provide us with this opportunity and tradition for our students and school community.

Winter has arrived! But that won’t stop us from enjoying the outdoors at recess. Please remember to send your students to school with proper winter clothing so they can join in on the fun.

The NCS Lions kicked off their basketball seasons this past Monday in a home game against GSB, and then traveled to Woolwich Wednesday.
Both teams worked well together, showing a great deal of grit and determination. Next up for the Lions is Richmond on Monday and Boothbay on Wednesday, both at NCS. Come cheer them on!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Not only is tonight the NPTO Movie Night, but it is also the opening night of the Scholastic Book Fair. The book fair will continue to run the following week, concluding on the night of the winter concert. If you are available and interested in helping the PTO with the book fair, please click the link below.

In the giving spirit? Be sure to check out the Christmas Wish Tree, filled with ornaments featuring staff and teachers’ “Christmas wishes,” such as sticky notes, pens, highlighters, and more.
The NCS Winter Concert is Thursday, December 11th, at 6:00 PM
Please join us for a wonderful evening of choral and band performances. While you’re here, be sure to explore our students’ amazing artwork on display throughout the school.

Our 8th graders will continue to spread Christmas cheer following the concert as they travel to the Lincoln Home on Friday, December 12th, at 1:00 PM for some festive caroling. This outing has become one of our favorite traditions, and we are deeply grateful to the YMCA for generously providing a van for our transportation.
Ms. Plummer warmly invites all parents of our 8th graders to join us for the fun if you are available!

Dear NCS families,
You may have heard the sad news of the passing of our dear colleague and
friend Cindy Sabina. Cindy was an exceptional teacher who taught sixth grade at
NCS for many years and made an impact on countless students. She took the
students to Hurricane Island when she was a teacher here, and after she retired,
she came back to chaperone the trips for the sixth graders.
We would like to honor her family’s request and donate to the Hurricane Island
Center for Science and Leadership in her memory. If you would like to contribute,
here is the link: Donate to Hurricane Island
Thank you for your contributions and support.
Best,
NCS Staff
