We had a great week at Nobleboro Central School! Our NCS Parent Teacher Organization is sponsoring the GLOW Dance this evening from 6:30-8:00 pm! This should be so much fun with friends! Did you know that here at NCS we offer a Homework Club Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays every week until 3:40 pm? Let us know if you would like your child to join this after school support. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday (Teacher Professional Development) and Tuesday (Veterans' Day). Have a great long weekend!

We are a school that places high value on outside recess. With that in mind, please make sure students are dressed appropriately for the conditions each day. This means at least a coat to match the temperature and footwear to keep feet warm and dry.
On October 24th we were visited by Maine author and fiber artist Hillary Dow. She discussed her process of making books: writing the words, felting characters and objects out of wool, and photographing them. She also met with 10 lucky middle-schoolers and taught them how to felt a bookmark during "Lunch in the Library."
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, the 19th Thursday, the 20th and Monday, the 24th this year. If you haven't already signed up for a conference, please do so here:

We are excited to announce that we are once again celebrating this season of gratitude with NCS’s annual Thanksgiving Feast. The community-building tradition of the Thanksgiving Feast brings families of students in grades K-4 into the building for a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our fabulous kitchen staff and served during the school day with the help of 8th graders and NCS staff.
