During our field trip to Coastal Rivers, students were asked to build a shelter within an area of 25 square feet. Students realized they needed to create a perimeter of 20 feet. “The building inspector” ensured everyone was within the legal limits and students enjoyed collaborating on their shelter.

Our third graders participated in the first ever GSB Wax Museum last week. Students chose a person of interest to research, take notes on, write a report, and create a speech. They participated in a week of acting classes to prepare their voice, body, and imagination for the performance. The day of the 1st graders were a great audience for the rehearsal. It was a huge turnout and big moment for our students! The third grade team and families are so very proud of their accomplishment!
