
Healthy Kids Day!


Ms. Hedda planted beets with Mrs. Verney’s class. These seedling will be planted at Food Bank Farm and the beets will be donated to local food pantries.



Sarah from CRCT taught first graders about what makes a bird and bird and their adaptations. They look a nature walk to look and listen for birds.

Ms. Hedda taught Mrs. Verney’s class about the life cycle of a chicken and did a hard boiled egg taste test.









If you see an 8th grader ask them to share their knowledge of volume and cubed roots! Today they got to play with blocks to deepen their understanding of 3D figures and calculating volume by cubing side lengths.

Today 7/8 students built an outdoor classroom in the GSB woods with Sarah Gladu from Coastal Rivers


7th grade Math students practiced their fraction skills by using tape measures!

Guest artist Rob Jones joined us for open art in Karen Hight's classroom. He spoke about his personal journey with art, projects he's created over the years, and the inspiration for his business today.

GSB’s Special Olympics athletes did so well at their swim meet at the Bath YMCA! All of their hard work and swim training paid off as seen by all the smiles on their faces and all of the ribbons they each won!

* Come when you can, leave when you need to! Dress for outdoor work.
* No childcare but kid-friendly jobs.
* Donuts & coffee in the morning. BYO lunch & drinks.
* Bring gardening tools: gloves, rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows.
* Pickup trucks would be helpful to take items to the dump.
