2nd graders kicked off Thanksgiving break with a fun treat — pumpkin pie in a cup!
Students made predictions about whether they thought they would like it or not, and then we graphed our results. It was a fun (and yummy) way to start the break! - Mrs. Lawrence

Our November all-school assembly was all about celebrations! We celebrated students with 95% or better attendance, classroom achievements, our Championship Soccer team, and were treated to a demonstration by our very own amazing Bristol Air Devils!

Due to the weather forecast and projected timing of the storm there will be no school in AOS 93 today. Jefferson and South Bristol will have remote days ~ Nobleboro and Bristol will have traditional no school days.

An Overview of Unit 2: Friends
This month PreK is exploring our friendships, including how to resolve conflict, what it means to be a good friend and helping and cooperating with our friends in the classroom—and at home. We will focus on how to enter play with our classmates, share materials and identify solutions when social conflicts arise. In this unit, children will begin to explore writing materials and begin to develop our beginning writing skills through our play!
Spotlight books:
The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza By: Philomen Sturges and Amy Walrod
Matthew and Tilly By: Rebecca C. Jones

4th graders return to the FARMS kitchen. We’re so happy to be back in the kitchen! This month, students were introduced to the teaching kitchen at the YMCA. We whipped up some delicious creations together. These valuable field trips help students work on math and reading skills beyond our classroom. -Mrs. Arzate

Educators from Herring Gut Learning Center joined first and second graders last week to observe and experience what life is like for a lobster. Scientists considered lobster adaptations (like their claws and color variations), observed live lobsters, and created their own lobster to bring home. -Ms. Shocki
