The 10th year of the Bikes for Books reading incentive program concludes Friday with several lucky readers winning new bikes. Bikes for Books is sponsored by the Bristol Masonic Lodge.

Thank you to the BCS PTO and the BCS School Board for a wonderful "Taco and Baked Goods Friday" lunch to end Teacher Appreciation Week! The VIP Maine Mobile tacos were delicious as were all the dessert items.

In acknowledgement of Earth Day, the fifth graders went outside and cleaned up an area just outside the school. Among the items found were bottles, foam, wrappers, a baseball, a rusted bicycle frame, and a disc golf disc. -Ms. Kinney
