Middle school students are all participating in flex groups once a week to explore new or interesting learning topics. Last week, the Nature group walked the nature trail taking observations and notes on how they can improve the trail for the community! - Ms. Peaco

Construction on the entrance to the new cafeteria is ongoing. The rough openings for the new windows can be seen to the right of the entrance.

Hearty Roots



This week, members of Team Waltz discussed how authors punctuated dialogue to show their readers how to read their stories. -Mrs. Waltz



Concrete has been poured for the entrance ramps, landings and stairs to the new cafeteria and the new kitchen. Concrete has also been poured for the sprinkler system pump house on the back of the addition.




Kindergarten listened to Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds along with sound effects on Novel Effect during Library. -Mrs. Holmes

Students in fifth grade have the opportunity to participate in various learning opportunities throughout the year called "Flex" classes. These classes are built around student interests, and different flex classes will be offered throughout the year. The current offerings students are participating in are foreign language (Japanese, German, and Spanish), geography, news reporting, and knitting. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers who make these offerings possible! -Ms. Winchenbach
